أفاد مصدر إعلامي، أن 24 شخصا يحملون الجنسية المغربية، لقوا مصرعهم، في السواحل الإسبانية، بعد غرق قارب كان ينقلهم بطريقة غير نظامية نحو الضفة الأوروبية، ليلة السبت الأحد 17 أكتوبر 2021.
وأوضح المصدر، أنه جرى إنقاذ ثلاثة أشخاص آخرين بواسطة “هيليكوبتر”، فيما لا يزال ثلاثة آخرين في عداد المفقودين، حيث تم نقلهم إلى مستشفى jerez de la frontera , فيما الأموات يتواجدون بمستودع مستشفى barbate.
وأوضحت ذات المصادر أن جل الغرقى ينحدرون من مدينة فاس ونواحيها، وغالبيتهم شباب في مقتبل العمر، فيما أضاف المصدر أن من بين الضحايا خمسة أفراد من عائلة واحدة بينهم امرأتين.
